Mills Falls to UC Merced

The Mills volleyball team took on a tough UC Merced squad at home, after a victory over the Mills Alumnae/i team on Friday night. UC Merced used seven aces and six kills in game one to take a 25-8 victory. Continuing their strong offense, the Bobcats posted 14 kills in game two and 10 in game three. Merced finished with .412 kill percentage. 

The Cyclones combined for five kills on the day, with sophomore, Emma Rigby leading the team with three. Rigby also added a block and two digs, leading the team in points. Classmates, Amber Meza and Miranda Crothers each added two blocks and a kill.  

Against a deep alumnae/i team, the Cyclones used 16 kills and 11 aces to take the match in three. Mills is off until next Saturday when they travel to Holy Names for an away match-up.
