The Mills College volleyball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming 2013 season. The season will feature 22 matches before the Great South Athletic Conference Championship Tournament.
The Cyclones will hit the ground running as they travel to Oregon for a four game stretch, taking on the Knights of Warner Pacific College in their season opener. Mills will then play Corban College, Linfield College, and George Fox University before returning home. The home opener for the Cyclones will be held shortly thereafter, on Tuesday, September 3, against visiting Pacific Union College. The season will feature a total of five home games and one Invitational, to be held at Menlo College.
For the first time, the Cyclones will travel to the Great South Athletic Conference Championships (GSAC) held at Salem College, in Winston-Salem, NC, for the culmination of their season. The championship tournament will run from November 8th–10th with the winner receiving a bid to the NCAA tournament. With eight returners, the Cyclones are excited to test their skills against new competition. Head coach Peter Yee will look to the team's four seniors to lead the Cyclones as they participate in their inaugural conference championship.
